Maddison Holland Registered Psychologist

Maddison holds an Honours degree in Psychological Science from Southern Cross University and a Master of Professional Psychology, obtained at University of New England.

She is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and is a member of the following organisations: Australian Clinical Psychologists Association (ACPA), Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

Maddison has experience assessing and treating individuals across various age groups, mainly working with adolescents and adults presenting with mental health diagnoses (i.e. anxiety related disorders, depressive related disorders, OCD and related disorder, and psychotic disorders) and neurodiverse individuals (i.e., ASD, ADHD, ID, and learning difficulties). Maddison provides warmth, reliability, honesty, and unconditional positive regard. She is passionate about assisting individuals facing everyday life challenges, contributing to positive guidance, and enhancing the well-being of both individuals and their families.

Evidence-based therapeutic interventions are employed by Maddison including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychoeducation.
